Hello everyone, I would like to take this time to thank each of you for all the prayers & kindness you all have shown to us during this very hard time in our lives. We had hoped that Joe would have made it back from a 3rd tour, but it was not the will of God & therefore we must accept this. I have been praying to understand God's will for my life & to show me his path. This is what I have done & he has allowed me the answer. It is with a sad heart that I write this to tell each of you that Brambleberry Lane will be closing its doors forever on August 31, 2008. I have allowed myself time to get past the shock of everything & not make this decision rashly--but it is something I am compelled to do. I have come to call each of you friend not only customer & this is hard for both Joe & I. We hope that each of you understands that we are saddened to not see as much of you as we have become accustomed to, but our path leads elsewhere. We have contacted Viking & they will be puttting into place as soon as they can a new Viking dealership in the Acadiana area to serve you. This was the first thing we asked of them, to not let Acadiana go unserviced with a reputable & supportive Dealership that also can embrace each of you. If anyone has a desire to open a dealership please feel free to contact Viking & they will be happy to discuss it with you. For those of you in the Baton Rouge--New Orleans area there is a brand new dealer in Baton Rouge to serve you. I have heard that they will be great so please go & support them!! Also there is a dealer in Houma to serve you & is a Certified Dealer with all the required certifications needed. The same can be said for your dealer in Ruston---Please support them.
